I feel confident in asserting that no one who has been involved in the various blogs relating to the politics of the Southern Baptist Convention over the last two years is without an opinion about California Director of Missions and IMB trustee Dr. Jerry Corbaley.
Those opinions are surely widely varied, and in most cases determined by the “side of the aisle” on which one has chosen to sit. Fortunately, my opinion was formed before I recognized that their was, in fact, an aisle. And so I call him a friend, and one for whom I am grateful to God.
Today, my left-coast friend has provided some wisdom for all of us involved in these discussions. As he explains in the post, comments are not open, but I commend his words to all of us who would take part in these conversations:

Wes, After reading Corbeley’s post, I find this quote appropriate: “Cry aloud, spare not, Lift up your voice like a trumpet and declare to My people their transgressions and to the house of Jacob their sins!” Isaiah 58:1 selahV

Dear Brother Wes,
I am just not sure about the whole premise of this article. Here is the quote in which the premise seems most questionable:
“The very nature of allowing a comment to stay in the comment stream is, of itself, a form of approval. Every blog administrator deletes the comments of which they do not approve.”
I think he is on very shaky ground here. Sentence one is iffy; sentence two is patently false, at least in my case.
Interestingly, Dr. C is kind of slandering me, because he is saying that I would remove certain comments from my blog if I didn’t approve of them. Actually, I would leave comments of which I didn’t approve, and see if others might argue with or correct that sentiment in other comments.
Love in Christ,
Jeff
