Buy Aldactone No Prescription, If you're a regular reader of SBC blogs, you know that a prominent group blog recently posted, without any corroboration, a letter supposedly written by an anonymous seminary professor which charged two of our seminary presidents with all manner of sinful behavior. The blog then tried to compare itself to an actual news organization that had used anonymous sources, Aldactone overseas, Aldactone craiglist, and quoted another organization's editor, Don Hinkle of the Missouri Baptist Convention's Pathway, 30mg Aldactone, Aldactone uk, in a ridiculous attempt to justify itself.

Today, 100mg Aldactone, 1000mg Aldactone, Don Hinkle has responded to this sad episode. Here's some of what he had to say:

One blogger has made public the preposterous suggestion that I look into the allegations made by an anonymous letter writer whose unsubstantiated charge that Al Mohler, 50mg Aldactone, Aldactone paypal, president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, has a temper, Aldactone australia. Aldactone canada, I will do no such thing. These frivolous allegations circulating on the Internet are unfair to Mohler because he has not been given the opportunity to respond to the source privately face to face, Aldactone mexico. 40mg Aldactone, They also undermine our invaluable trustee system by circumventing it, and because readers have no way of knowing whether the charges are true, 250mg Aldactone, 20mg Aldactone, they come off as mere gossip or lies. To date, Aldactone us, 750mg Aldactone, no evidence has been made public, making this sordid episode a worthless act of irresponsibility.

Let me just point out some things that should be obvious to everyone: The sky is blue, Aldactone coupon, 500mg Aldactone, the Chicago Cubs are cursed by God, and bloggers are not journalists, Aldactone japan, 10mg Aldactone, protestations to the contrary notwithstanding.

“Supposedly written by….” seems unnecessarily distrustful, and a slap at the bloggers who posted the piece. I think it a poor choice of words.

The letter was attributed to an anonymous professor, and I don’t think the story needed this suspicious slant on it. We’ve got enough of that in the SBC already.

    Bob,

I appreciate your perspective. Let me ask about the following statements:

“But has Dr. Patterson’s apparent self-serving handling of finances at two of our seminaries been a subject of serious trustee scrutiny?”

“…it is widely known around SBTS that Dr. Mohler has discouraged his administrative cabinet’s esprit de corps. His fits of anger, selfishness and disrespect toward his administrators have hastened or prompted the departures of more than a half dozen.”

“…no one on Dr. Patterson’s faculty is embarrassed by his frequent emphasis on the great commission. But doing the work of an evangelist also requires consistent biblical character lest the messenger of the Good News be discredited. Dr. Mohler’s frequent emphasis on truth resonates well with his faculty, but knowledge of his critical character flaws undermines his credibility.”

Do any of these strike you as unnecessarily distrustful, or as a slap against the seminary presidents?

Are you seriously suggesting that I, by wondering whether this professor actually exists (a question that could be immediately settled by the attachment of a name to the letter), am adding a previously nonexistent “suspicious slant” to this story?

    Yes.

If the letter contained unwarranted and/or untrue spin, I’d hope you’d be above doing the same.

    wes and bob,

and what about the erroneous, refrigerated closet statement by this anonymous prof.? was this not an attempt to make the patterson’s look bad? would this not be akin to slander?

also, i have a temper. sometimes i lose it.
i dont know why this would make me or dr. mohler a bad person who couldnt serve God. are any of yall out there saying that you dont have a temper?

David: I figure what others say doesn’t give me license to say anything that I oughtn’t to say, otherwise.

One of my heroes was Winston Churchill. When asked about a rival politician who’d maligned him, Sir Winston praised the man. When subsequently asked if he hadn’t heard what the rival said about him, Sir Winston responded “Ah .. but you did not ask what HE thought of ME, you asked what I thought of HIM.”

    Brother Bob,

Let me say that I lived at SEBTS when the supposedly “Air Conditioned” closet for the furs was installed. It began as an addition to the Presidential mansion that was humidity controlled and that was never corrected in the papers. However, all of this occurred under Dr. Drummond’s Presidency. As I remember the news agencies in NC likened it to Tammy Faye’s dog houses.

When I saw that in the “anonymous professor’s” letter, I knew he didn’t know about what he was speaking. However, if Dr. Boyd Luter will place his reputation on the line as the things being in that letter as being true, someone may look into it. As you know that is the trouble with anonymous letters. No one wants to take responsibility for what they say.

    Blessings,
    Tim

    ROFL!!!!!!!!!

This whole thing reminds me of SBC 2006 when I told the convention from the floor that the motion Wade B made was very serious and should be looked into; the seriousness was not dependent on whether it was true or not. If true, SERIOUS, as it represented a problem. If untrue, SERIOUS, as it represented a different problem. Either way, SERIOUS.

I got climbed on hard, that very night, for “Speaking on behalf of Burleson”. And they didn’t stop when I told them that’s not what I’d done.

    I’m NOT defending the professor!

    Come on, guys….

    Wes,

Bob is right. Boyd Luter is not a liar. A professor in one of our seminaries did write the letter. Boyd did use poor judgement in posting it without the guy’s name. The guy will be found out. He will go the way of the DODO bird.

It is true as said by Tim and Vol there was no fur closet installed at the request of Dr. Dorothy Patterson. If there had been I, cb scott, would have known of it.

At the same time, I, cb scott, knows there are serious administrative problems in our convention. There are people who will not speak up out of fear for their jobs. That is a fact. Most everyone who works for a convention entity will say that is a true statement or they will lie and say it is not. (there are many liars among us)

We no longer are fighting a battle due to the theological positions of our leadership. We are now at odds due to a lack of leadership, not from our agency heads, but a lack of leadership within the ranks of our trustees to which we have intrusted the care of our SBC entities.

Sometimes a good trustee has to say “NO” just like you as a good Daddy has to say “NO” to your children when they want to do something that is not in their best interest.

Brothers, we have just too many BOOT-STRAPPING, BALONEY-EATERS serving as “yes men” trustees. If that does not stop we are most certainly doomed.

and the venom and hate and evil continues. it’s really sad that we have a group of people out there who are so full of hate that they just constantly look for opportunities to attack…..and seek to destroy. sad.

    David,

This is not venom and hate. It is a call for accountability. If Mohler actually repented of an anger problem then this has led to Biblical accountability and restoration. To construe that as “venom and hate” is to malign the Bible itself.

i have dealt with negative nay sayers before…you know, those who nit pick apart everyone that doesnt go along with them. they attack and attack. they jump on every little thing that someone does wrong, and they make it seem like something huge.

despicable is a good word for this.

I’m sorry that you think Biblical accountability and repentance are despicable. That’s sad.
